I just want to share some of my favourite posts from some fellow bookbloggers from the past few weeks. This means I'm encouraged to keep up with reading everyone's awesome posts (hopefully), and I can also talk about them here. Win win, right?
I was pleasantly surprised by This Savage Song though. Urban fantasy is up there amongst my favourite genres, so I was hopeful that this could be better for me, but when you’ve read a ton of urban fantasy, you begin to wonder if you’ll ever read something truly different. This Savage Song managed to be different.
An A-Z of bookish fun! Featuring some of my favourite books, favourite place to read and the authors I'm an unapologetic fangirl for!
Today's prompt is Favourite Magic Systems. Ooh, magic. I love magic, so decided I had to write for this prompt.
I originally found this over at Bookishly Brittknee and as a huge Potterhead, decided to give it a go.
March was an expensive month for me, purely because I got a little book happy, and ordered a few too many books, including a pre-order or two. Here's the books I got for March that were not pre-orders...
I've seen a lot of discussion recently about whether audiobooks are reading, why people who read ebooks don't really love reading like those that read physical books, why those who can afford pre-orders and the newest books obviously love reading so much more than those that can't afford it. I said I wasn't going to swear in my blog, so let's go with REALLY?!?!
And, that's the end of March. Blimey, this year is flying by a little too fast for my liking. We're into the 4th month? We're coming up on the year being one third over. Yeah, I can't think about that too much.
Since I haven't been reading this week, I thought I'd write up a discussion topic instead! This one is topical for me, because I've been struggling with what to read. I've been turning to Twitter recently to help me choose, so I sat down to think about how I actually pick what I read. What makes me pick up one book over another?
I just discovered the incredible Magical Readathon 2019, and decided I had to join in! To hold myself somewhat accountable and share with you guys what I am reading in April, I've created this post with a list of the books I plan to read.
